Invision CSS sheet?
Hi
Where is the Invision CSS sheet in order for me to edit anything? Is it supposed to be accessible to admin, and editable?
I'm wanting to edit the Post Preview Box, which formats the text as double-spaced, and I want single, which avoids members posting by accident in one big block text.
Cheers

Re: Invision CSS sheet?
It depends on what skin you choose upon the forums creation.
Not all skins have css. i believe all of the hitskins do.
Anyway if you have a skin that dose not have a sheet you can still add your own css to your forum. if you do have one then it will be in the same place and you will see it there.

Re: Invision CSS sheet?
Thanks Kirk, I think I have a skin without one. Can I download one from somewhere, or shall I simply change my forum skin?
If the latter, will I mess up my settings and layout?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Invision CSS sheet?
well you dont need one to use css.
you can still place css coding in your style sheet and it will work.
it depends on what your doing.. unless you realy want a whole style sheet that comes with a skin.. but man some of those are rather large can be like navigating through a bowl of pea soup... LOL
Most are not to bad and set up pretty much the same.
I am more old school and do more template edit. (depending what it is i am doing)
but yeah you can still use any css you want in your sheet if you do not have one in there with the skin you are using.
if you want a skin with one
you will just have to go through some different skins you like. when you install one you like if it has css sheet with it it will tell you that the css has changed or something like that.. you will know when you install it.

Re: Invision CSS sheet?
Thanks Kirk
So, if I choose to, I could merely input a tiny part of code (btw, what is the code for my OP??), as opposed to the whole thing, which i was used to on phpbb3?
Or, I can install a new skin without any major disruption. Cool.

whats OP?
And it depends what skin you are using some skins will over right any codes you have in there all ready.. so if it's something you want to keep be sire to copy to a note pad so you do not lose it and go back and add latter.

Re: Invision CSS sheet?
Hello,
Kirk, I think OP is original post, but I'm not sure :S
I believe the post preview box is something that you can only edit with templates, which is PunBB & PHPBB2 exclusively
There might be a CSS code for it, but I'm not good at CSS so you would have to wait until someone who is good at it would come around.
