Re: Unable to stay in my forum
I have now managed to unlog my admin name, but it still wont let my user name log out
Re: Unable to stay in my forum
Just click log out to get out on the forum with your account, it's a bug that your name is still shown when you're logged out. Happens to some accounts some times.

Yes. Unless there's really someone using your account other than your self

Re: Unable to stay in my forum
Are you receiving any error messages when you're trying to log in?

Re: Unable to stay in my forum
Does this mean other than zoids nobody else has a clue to this problem ?
Re: Unable to stay in my forum
I have come across this several times with my members and it also happened to me on a different forum once. It is when a user gets a different browser or an updated version of the browser they are already using. Or perhaps you have logged in on a different machine and not logged out.
If you have changed browsers go back to the one you used previously, ditto with another machine & make sure that you are logged out of the forum using that browser/machine and then clear all the cookies. You have mentioned clearing your history, it's the cookies & temporary internet files you need to clear out, but for example, if you have recently changed from IE to Firefox, you need to do it in IE not Firefox. Hope this helps.

Only problem is my mate logs in using my detailes, on his pc and has no problems, but then i try to log in on another apple mac and i get the same problems every time.
But then i use this lap top on here and other forums with no problems at all.
Re: Unable to stay in my forum
That is exactly how it was for me, I gave my friend my password she could log in as me from her PC, even though I couldn't. In my case I had changed from IE to Firefox. When one of my members had this, he hadn't actually changed browsers, just updated Firefox to a more recent version. I am unclear what my other member with this problem had done, he wasn't very clear, but clearing all cookies fixed his too. If you are using a Mac & a PC then most likely you will have used more than one browser.
We were all showing on line but not able to access the forum, just as you have described.
As I said, clear out all the cookies on all computers & all browsers that have ever been used to access the forum.
