changing someones rank

Ok so I was trying to change someones rank on one of the forums I am on (she is a regular member) and I couldn't because it wanted me to confirm the password for them. I don't know it and I am not about to ask everyone on the forum to give me their passwords...can anybody help me?

You don't need to confirm someone's password to change their rank. Just choose it and hit Save.

When I tried before it kept asking me to confirm it.

I tried deleting the password and it worked lol

I knew that is the cause . because you have saved your password every time you open your forum (Firefox & Google Chrome)

I was trying to change someone elses..i just think it was google Chrome acting up
