I voted YES. I like the idea of having games topics etc but I hate all the spamming that goes with them, with some members raising their post counts to tens of thousands!

You can disable post count. All you have to do is go to ACP >> Users and Groups >> Profile >> Number of Posts >> Modify >> Un-check boxes profile and messages. >> DONE!

That doesn't solve this... What you just told everyone to do is not display their post count on their profiles or messages. This has nothing to do with disabling the post count of a forum.
