Smarter Posting Tools / Options
When posting or editing a post, I noticed that when I want to bold, italic, color, etc... a certain part of the post, once the command is done, the post resets back to the top of the post. This should be fixed because when editing very large post, every time it resets up to the top you have to scroll down looking for where you left off.
I have also encountered a problem where if i wanted to insert a link, an image, a video, a table chart, a quote, a smiley, etc... in a certain part of the post, it automatically puts it at the very bottom of the post, instead of putting it where I clicked the mouse cursor on. I would like it to post what I want, where I want it, instead of putting it at the bottom of the post by default.
The WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) feature doesn't always show everything correctly. For example if you want to change the size of a text field, you will see the size code in the WYSIWYG mode, rather than see the size of the text as you set it. Can this please be fixed?
If you have anymore suggestions regarding the posting tools and options, please post them in here.

None of this stuff really bothers me and you can read why below. But I guess it couldn't hurt.
1.) Wouldn't it be quicker to add the tags in by yourself?
2.) Again, just put the tags in yourself.
3.) WYSIWYG has always been unreliable, I've always thought it was a bit of a hassle to use it on any forum.

Here are my replies to each of your answers.
1.) Not everyone knows the tags to do it themselves manually. Some people are new to this stuff.
2.) Okay.. Same statement so same answer as above.
3.) Agreed, sorta. Some forums like the Playstation forums allow you to edit your post in WYSIWYG mode by default and works almost flawlessly. Some forums use this feature very well IMO.

It's true that it is a rather annoying bug
All you need to do is write the tags yourself of press "arrow right", but it's still not very visually pleasing or easy to follow.

1) Indeed it is annoying.Caihlem wrote:It's true that it is a rather annoying bug

2) Again, some people don't know the tag commands or any of that. They are new to this stuff. Also having to do any of this manually eliminates the whole purpose of these automated tools provided for us.
3) I'm glad we can finally find something to agree on.

Vote yes. My members complain about this sometimes, and because of the many smilies we have, inserting the codes is not always possible, as well as the tags for bold, italics, etc.

Good point. I too have lots of smileys and putting tags for a bunch of them in a post will get pretty frustrating.that70sguy92 wrote:Vote yes. Also lets say I copy a spreadsheet that has bold text for different categories, I would have to individually bold every single category on the post (since it doesnt copy bold text).. and every time it resets back to the top of the post.. O_O!
