Post by Adam360 on July 24th 2010, 11:04 am

Hey everybody,

i want to put my forum on google as a first result when typing in
"new era ge" it is a runescape forum, and therfore want runescape
players to visit only, this is why i have not posted it in the promotion section.
i have tried to put it on google through general>search engines>google
but it just doesn't work, could somebody explain to me wht i need to do?

Oh and i do not have the money to have my own domain, so i am stuck with
********.forumclan.com

Thanks in advance

If you already added your forum on google search engines, it won't always be on the 1st results, since there lots of other sites too.. You need to have your forum really active and populated to achieve that.

but its not as if the first results are even relative to my search,

i type in "new era ge" and it comes up with new era of nuclear power Sad

if i get a domain with credits to make my forum ********.com could i then be the first result?

Nope, As I'd mentioned above, it's depending on your site if it's really popular, it might be on the 1st results.

I got your private message after you found this topic.

I used my method and your link should appear on Google soon. ( Maybe less than 24 hours )

I'm not going to help you with that because it is time consuming and your forum looks new without age...

Learn Search Engine Optimization while your forum ages then you'll get your links first placed in Google for those keywords in no time, Wink

( Make sure that your website has good content, of course )

By having useful information ( in posts ) related to what your website is related to, Wink ( Depending what keyword you are targeting for search engines )
