Making user MOD
Hey
I have tried to make a user a MOD on my forum , but everytime I press save it says "the passwords you entered do not match" ?? Anyway I could get round this?

Because you don´t have to change user password for making he/him moderator, just add her/him to moderator group and give him/her permisions for moderate on the forum...

But isn't a group, it's a rank I want to put him in. The only way I can see to put him in that rank is to do it through his profile field of what rank he is in..

Are you user you're not changing the password of the user/moderator you want to change his/her rank?

usergroups - Mod - type name in - add
EDIT: Ranks - create mod rank - Go to user - leave password fields blank - Scroll all way down and select mod

Tried that.. it still says "Error - The passwords you entered did not match"

Go to the top of the profile and remove whatever is in the password box then do what you want to do.
