I tried this, but somehow messed up my forum, I then had to delete my templates to get back to my normal look. I want to do it again, but its scary. I have phpbb2

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble getting the App from facebook?

hi, whenever I'm putting the connect url I'm getting this error: URL must point to a directory (i.e., end with a '/' or a dynamic page (i.e., have a '?' somewhere). How will i add the connect url or the site name?

I have followed the steps and after I had put in th eforum URL and name I waited for my confirmation code. It didnt come, so I clicked the page where I was supposed to put the confirmation code in away. Now I got my confirmation code via text but i cant get the webpage back to put in the confirmation code [to get my app ID]! Has someone got a link for me pls that leads me to the page which lets me put in the confirmation code to get my app ID.

Yes. You can create apps and display the forum through facebook. Great for updates some peeps don't look for on your forum. My app shows in the side bar. Also have a personal connection in a widget. Lots of possibilities.

I also did that at first and simple re-did the Facebook ap and started over. Then deleted the other ap. Then you can use the ap number to incert a "Like" button on the forum or even an activity ap with a like button. Once you are on the ap or develpoers page, click on the 'Application Profile page' on the right and bookmark your Facebook ap for easy access. Create a new "widet" on your forum.(be sure to activate your widgets) After incerting the code into your forum, go post something on the ap wall. After a few minutes it will display it on your forum. If you have an HTML home page, you can incert it there also.
