Forumotion uses their own coding. That is why we can't transfer data to another host or even use mod's.

No formation is a free forum host and do not offer any data transfers.
Basically the same way as facebook or myspace and many other free sites/host do not offer there data to be transferred,imported or exported.

If you want to be able to mange or move your own data you should look into getting a paid forum like the paid version of http://www.phpbb.com/development/ or http://www.vbulletin.com/

also http://grou.ps/ allows you to manage you own data as well but it dose cost not sure how much. these are just a few that i know of. there are many more websites forums etc.. that you can get premium services and manage and maintain your data.
