One of my moderatos is removing posts is there any way of seeing the posts that have been removed?
Is it possible for a moderator to send a PM in the name of one of the forum users?

Hello,

You can see what is being moved and/or deleted via: Admin panel >> General > Security Smile

I don't quite get the second question?

Yep I can see that a moderator has removed a post but I cannot see the posting content ie what was written in the posting is that possible?

2nd question, I believe a moderator is sending PMs in the name of one of the forum users is that possible?

I am not sure about your 1st question

However, the second one is not possible.

BTW, it seems like you are having problems with your Mods. Why not remove them of Mod powers and tell them to prove that they are worthy.

1)I don't think its a moderator I think its a forum member.
You send this forum member a PM and he answers the PM
You quote the PM he sent send it back with an answer and he then denies sending the PM accusing someone of hacking into his account and sending rogue PMs.
As you need a password to get into this persons account I thought it was almost if not impossible for someone to do that.

2) This same forum member makes postings then states he never made the posting.
The moderator removed the posting.
Now I want to see what the posting was but I can't.
I can see that the posting has been removed and the date but I cannot see what the posting is.

1) To view a PM you need to access the account, we can't do it any other way, and will never be able to do it
It's a violation of Privacy & a French law Wink

You can check if the user has any modding permissions by going to their profile then clicking "Permissions"

2) You can't see what the content of that post was; once it's deleted, it's deleted TT

i have a clever idea in my forum i took away the delete button on posts, so they have to send it to the garbage
(witch only admins can see)
then the admins check if it's right to delete the post

thanks good idea. How do I delete the 'delete post ' facility? Is it just a matter of deleting the button in the display section of the forum admin panel? How do I get the post into garbage ?
