[How] How to make Hot topic / thread to forum.

I want to make a hot topic in the portal
how? I mean, similar to recent topics
but this is a popular topic, or we can say hot topic

Admin Panel>Modules> Portal widgets> Portal management>Structure> You will probably have to create a new widget and update it. However, I am pretty sure that you are talking about the new widget, so try the news widget out and if that is not what you want then I would suggest creating a widget specifically for that.
