cant add catagorys?

Ok, I've been asking a few questions recently but now I cant even add a category!! Im a pro at forummotion forums and i have created a few before but on this one i cant even add catagorys! when i go in to my catagorys and forums section there is clearly two catagorys but on the forum its the one catgory and yes i made a forum in the new catagory please help because im beginning to get a bit annoyed here.

check and see what you have it attached to and positioned after.
if you can provide a screen shot of what it looks like in the admin panel too.
