Do Activity Points decrease?
Forum games are fun, but we do try to preserve posting for topics outside these forum games. I believe activity points can be earned and used for a free domain name. Activity points are earned on number of users, posts, topics, and several other criteria I'm probably unaware of. If we delete the games every certain time period, do we lose the activity points for the loss of topics? We want to try to keep the forum games since the members enjoyed them, however, we do not want posts rising from forum games alone. Our members don't really mind, but would topic deletion, even in general, affect the total amount of activity points? Are there any other ways activity points can be gained?
Thanks in advance,
~Paint.
Note to staff: I don't know if this would go in the credits forum, since it's dealing with how a free domain name can be earned. If you see this fits in the "other problems" forum, I do apologize. I thought since this is based on how to get a free domain name through a very active forum, I assumed this forum would be the best place to post this in. If you believe otherwise, please move it to the "other problems" forum. I apologize for any bad judgment of topic placement.

I believe they do after no signs of activity. But what about if we delete topics that contain several posts? For instance, a topic has 30 pages. It soon gets deleted. Does that means we'll lose any activity points that it may have generated?

I've done a little research about activity points while I was interested in forumotion forums and I don't think the deletion of topics with lots of replies would reduce a forum's activity points. As long as members keeps posting, then you wouldn't have to worry about your activity points dropping, paint wrote:I believe they do after no signs of activity. The formula to gaining activity points : posts + time = activity points
Get your members to post one after the other every minute or so and keep doing this method for a while and the next day, you'd see your activity points shoot up sky high. But, to get a free domain name, you'll have to let old forum age kick in to the formula that I shared above,

We're a year old almost, I think. That's great. We have a popular RP and we got up to two pages quickly.
