Solved icons

Post by ifureadthisdie on August 8th 2010, 10:01 am

Hello, i know i accidentally caused my other thread to be locked as solved but i ended up encountering a problem with the solved icons. I figured out how to add one, but whenever you do, the icon is next to the old one instead of replacing the default. How do i fix this?

I know I'm not suppose to bump this unless it's been 24 hours, but today is the last day for the redesign, i have to finish this and it's the only thing holding us back.

Do you want it to be merged/combined?

dude stop double and triple posting!!!
you know not to do it but yet you are doing it anyway.
Next time just wait for a reply or edit any new content into your previous post via the edit button in the post

He said "do you want it to be merged/combined?"
Merge and Combine mean the same so a YES would still be valid. Also ill try that.
And sorry for the double posting but i was in one HUGE hurry i had a deadline.

That's only possible on phpbb3 like here on the support forum.

well you are confusing me.. if you want both images on it then post the images and i can photo shop a icon to place as your default if thats how you want it.

or you do not want the default then just go in there and remove the link form the default.

i just dont understand witch way you want it.. but it's an easy solution.

i dont know if you want the single one.. or the one checked or the double one... hahah.

but on my test forum i removed the default link out of the default icon.
then i just created one, have it set as default and dont have anything checked off for (Default assignment)

So when you start or edit a post you will then have the option to set the image.

Woah that just confused me. look, you see how on here, when a topic is solved, the regular circle will now have the solved icon over it.
Well, as you can see in the image above, when i put the select the solved icon, it comes out NEXT to the regular one. If it was here, you would see the white circle, and next to it will be another row, where the solved icon would appear instead of on top of the other.
For me, the default icon was always just blank, i also tried what you did, i don't know how you got it to work, but it's not working at all for me. Could you maybe screen shot your settings, maybe there's something I'm doing wrong that I'm not noticing.
