Wider Forum?

Well my forum is centered in the middle of the background image so it only takes up about 70% of the screen. How do i make it wider? If its in the css what is the code i should look for? I would like it as wide as this forum. (the sides on this forum arnt that big)

To put it simple i just want to make my forum wider. The forum, not the background image behind it.

This is easily fixed. Go to the Admin Panel>General>Configuration. Scroll down to Pages Structure & set the width you want for your forum. Mine is set at 95%. No CSS needed.

I have tried it before and it is the reason y i posted this. It deont work. I type a percent, nothing happens ( i did click save) . I type a number, nothing happens. (its set to auto right now as default , do you think the css is forcing the size?)

That is strange. I have had absolutely no problems, at all, with this using both phpBB2 & 3. Sorry that this is of no help you. Don't know any CSS, unfortunately.

i tried this. It only makes some parts of the forum wider , such as the categories. But not the back layer or any thing else
