Navagation Words

okay, we all know the navars, well i got bored and started thinking
outside the box. I know these aren't the greatest, but i figured it was
at least a unique idea at best. Granted they look 100% different on a
dark background. And again, i was just goofing off on Gimp to pass the
time, it was one of those "Ooo, what does this do?" moments. Navagation Words Icon_lol

Okay, the originals are at -45 gradient, these new ones are at -35

I don't recall using gradient on em, but then again I don't remember half of what i did to make them. Thanks for the suggestion

LOL, you don't remember using gradient on something thats sloped like this ----> / <-----

It just need to be turned clockwise a little bit =]

Text instead of images.... there's an option for that Smile

So aside from a rotation, which is a one-click tool... There's not much work put in

The idea is nice though. If you want to improve it a little I'd advise as follows:
Use the rotated text as guidelines (ex: text to selection) and re-create the text yourself. This'll hopefully remove the blur around the text and should allow you to do more with the text itself

I know about the text instead of pictures option already, which in my opinion is kind of bland, I was just thinking of ways to I guess you could say improve, or customize it.

Okay, the next time I get on the other computer I'll have to play with it more and maybe have a few more "What does this do?" moments.
