Forum "Home" Question Empty Forum "Home" Question

Post by dough_be August 14th 2010, 3:04 am

I am not sure this will work but It's something that I wanted to ask just incase.

Here is my question I would like to ask.

Can you or is there a way to make a Member Homepage differentm then someone who views the website for the first time?

The reason why I ask is when I want to post something to the Members w/o posting it in a forum, I go to Adminstrative Tool, Display, then Generalities and do it that way. But I don't want all to see, just the members of the forum.

But when you log out of the forum it shows that message and the public forums that are there.

I hope this is clear to whoever reads this and I'd apprectiate the responses/feedback.

Thanks Very Happy

PS. Also were can I get the "Solved" option for my forum Like you have for this one? Very Happy

For the first one, I believe there is a code, which I unfortunately don't know. Maybe ankillien or RoNo will know it, as far as I know they're good with codes.

However, Solved icon can be added by going to Admin Panel > Display > Pics management > Advanced mode > Topic icons
click "Add new" and there you go! Smile

By default, only in PhpBB 3 topic icon and icon for topic (no new, new, locked, no new - popular or new - popular) will be together as one. Other versions don't have it that way, but I think I saw a code for it. Wink

I got the "Solved" icon , thanks Dumbledore27.

If there is a code for the new homepage for strictly members, I would apprectiate the code or a link to were to find it.

Thanks for the feedback!!!
