hope anyone can help

As this is from my forum I thought I would give you the required help.
You need to go to Modules then portal and widgets and then forum widget management. You then need to add the login widget to the right or left hand side of your forum. When you are not signed in it shows as a login box but when you are logged in it shows your post count etc. Hope this helps.
