If I want to review a forum, can I do it and post it without any permission, or do I have to ask a chief Reviewer for reviewing the forum ?

Members can do reviews, but it's advisable to post/mention that you've tagged/taken on the request thread so member's will know, and the reviewers will just check it if there's something that needs to be added.

Um...I'm sorry if this has already been answered before but...to request a review do we simply post the thread or is there somewhere to post the request as it is in the Forum Promotion section?

It's up to you, but I;m not sure since I can't fully understand your question, but it's not allowed to use our stamps/sign grades for normal users.

Say if we tag a Review and use the template, where do we get the passed or failed images? Or is it in the template?

EDIT| How can we become a full revieweR is it based on like

+additude
+reviews
*etc or are we selected when required?

1. You can't use the stamp that we're using for grading but you can use your's.

2. Reviewers will be recruited if they do good/informative reviews and also if they don't have any warnings, also if they're active.

Re: [Only Topic] Questions about Reviews

I'm a bit confused in the rules, about the section "Limits of Reviews":

You can request a review again but it should be 2 weeks apart from your last review.
I've recently (few days ago) requested a "Design/Theme & Lay out" review, which got done in a day or two. (thanks for the quick review ^^)
But, the part I'm confused about is:

Can I now post a different kind of review, even though it hasn't been 2 weeks since my last review? or does the rule mean all types of reviews in general?

Thanks in advance for answering my question ^^

Alright, thanks for your help ^^ I'll be awaiting the reply

If the URL of the Forum under review sets off alarms by Browser, Firewall or Anti-virus, is it scrutinized any further by Forumotion Staff to ascertain if the forum link poses any risk ?

Nope, there should always be 2 weeks apart before requesting another type of review or another of your forum so it'll be easy enough for us to come up with the requests, except for the full review that there should be 1 month gap before you can request another 1 for your forum.

Alright ^^ thanks for the clear up.

Found it weird that you could request a certain review 3 times per month, but that you can only request any type of review after 2 weeks since the last one.

Re: [Only Topic] Questions about Reviews

Post by Hillary.Reist on March 8th 2011, 6:31 am

I have a question about when I am eligible for another review.

I understand that the Quick Review is allowed twice a month, so once every 2 weeks. I also understand that a One Area Review is allowed thrice a month, so once every 10 or so days.

So, lets say I got a Quick Review, but now I would like to get the One Area Review. How does that work? Do I wait 2 weeks, or can I get it in the 10 days?

EDIT: Hahahah I should have read all the questions before posting, because I believe the poster above me asked the same question. Laughing

Ok so your question is solved? I would make things clearer in case...

Even if you request another type of review but you already requested a different type of review from the past, you'll need to wait for 2 weeks so we can get up with the requests.

The requirements are the number of posts and members on your forum that you need to request a review. For example, if you only have 10 posts and 2 members, you cannot request a Full Review.

Yes, but it has to be reasonable, not just giving a low rating without any reason, an official reviewer may correct it if it has to.
