Help With Chaning The Nav Bar Background

Hello all i just got a new nav bar like this one



and i would like to know how do i get my nav bar to show up with the sides like that?

my current one that got made he has given me the background to it and i don't know how to change the background of the nav bar

i think the very left and right button have to have the corner in it.

umm.. here is my idea.. go to ACP>Display>Color>CSS Stylesheet
in there, if there is a long list of codes in the box, then search through it.. look at the images in there, and it should be one of them.. another thing, I can help if you send me the URL of your site. I can help find the image URL.

i know.. lol but that doesn't help at all, because the forum doesn't have the same bar. it's all red and like.. slipknot, korn crap.

i'm not sure what you mean because they are two totally different nav bars.
So the only way i can see doing this is if there is a css code to where you can add a background image for the nav bar.

or just create a whole custum html code and add to your over all header template. then remove all images and text from the forums nav bar.

i can most likely create such a code.. but it's a lil work to go through so if there is a way to just do it with css that would be so much more easier.

if you can post the css codeing and i will have a look at it.

Yea somewhat to my liking he has made the side bars.... but i want the bar to stretch like it does on the other site it looks abit ocward (sp?) just sitting there like that though i wish i could do something about it
