Can't Modify A User Without changing his password? Empty Can't Modify A User Without changing his password?

I am trying to demote some in my forums. When I do, I click "save". After that, it say's "The passwords you entered did not match."
I enter my password but when I do, it changes the users password to the one I entered.

It also say's "Confirm password : *
You only need to confirm your password if you changed it above" And the above password is mine also.

How do I demote/Promote a member without adding my password or his to change it?

I don't know what ACP is.
But I am trying to demote his rank. When I click "save" it say's "The password you entered does not match". But it only say's I need to enter a password if I want to change it... Confusing....

Just delete the dots/full stops in the password box & do not enter in your PW. This will avoid the "Password you entered did not match" stuff. You should be able to click Save, after you have finished modifying the member, without any problems after doing this.
