I can't change the forum width.

Or you can do it the old fashion way and just re-size your forum logo.

Anyway what forum version are you useing?

I'm having the same issues. The portal will resize but not the main forum. I looked through my css and couldn't find the setting for it.

That worked part way, but only after you enter into a topic, the topics resized. But it did not resize the actual forum it's self though.

Maybe you have a wide banner

Nope that can't be the issue. My friend has a forumotion site as well and I made both her and my banners so they are the same size. But she has her forum size to 80% and it worked on the forum and on the portal page both.

But if that had been the cause of it, then the code that you gave wouldnt have resized the topics. Worked well on the topics just didnt do anything to the main forum.

well i need to see his forum to better explain what would be the best way for him. css are different,skins are different but it' pretty much the same way to do it on all forums and would depend because the portal is different to.

and the logo thing only works for makeing it wider .. but thats silly and would not work for everyone .. it can depending i did a couple times back in the day..

hahah i even did a transparent image in the header once.

Yea I use a transparent one as well where I have a flash logo.
But is there something that can be added to this code to make it work on the main forum as well and not just the topics?
