How do i transfer members to another site

when i go to delete the site it says i can transfer to other site how do i do that

You can't transfer to another host.

You will receive an email asking you to click on a link for the final deletion :
Your forum, your members, your messages... Everything will be deleted without further notice.
If your forum has a substancial community,
Instead of deleting it, you can transfer the administration to someone else.

Please use this option only if you are totally sure...

whats this mean then? i have over 1000 members

You can give another member admin rights...you don't transfer users/posts, only the owner account.

It means your forum will be gone, and you won't be able to get it back.
