Ads still show up
I have a forum. I am owner there and I still see ads from google.
http://regendwar.darkbb.com/forum.htm
There is no option in general -> forum -> configuration -> that can reduce the ads. They are all over the forum now.
"Reduce the number of displays for images advertisements"
This is the only option regarding advertismements. There used to be a option where I could make only guests see it. It is gone and now every one has to see annoying ads.
It is turning new forum members away.
What do I do and how do I stop this?
They are polluting my forum
Screenshots in spoiler.

I cant since there are no enter-able fields or drop down menu es. I searched tons of other threads and the solution used to work but not anymore.MrMario wrote:Just click Guest as that is the only option since Forumotion changed it.

Re: Ads still show up
The ad's on the widget you remove by going to the widget management. Could you post a screenshot of your admin panel where you see the guest option. Because you should need to click it and click save.

Re: Ads still show up
Feel lucky all you get is text ads. I chose Yes for that and I get nothing but image ads.

PS: You can't get rid of ads unless you pay to get rid of them. They're there so Forummotion earns some money out of your forum.

Re: Ads still show up
I remember that forumotion was not like this before.
I dont like this new idea of ads being bombarded all over the forum.
Before the settings were so ONLY guests would see them.
The ads make my forum lag like hell.

Re: Ads still show up
The problem was that I was using my secondary admin admin account and not the founder one. All sorted now.
Thanks to every one.
