how can i make my forum private so only members have access to the forums and contents, i want it to come up with a log-in or register pop up on the homepage without them being able to enter the site or view anything without doing so...

edit the forum permissions
acp // general // categories and forums
then make it so guests can't see it

i dont know wether i done it wrong or not but they can still view the forum titles, i wanted it so that the home page will have

Register...
Log in...

with no other options?
