Unexplained Photobucket Source Code/Imagery

Post by stevenpenrodjr on September 8th 2010, 1:11 pm

On the front page & all pages on my forumotion site ... there seems to be PHOTOBUCKET BANDWIDTH EXCEEDED images behind my widgets on the sides. I do NOT have (nor use) PB stuff.

Someone care to tell me why &/or how to fix? My site is: http://www.backtothetrivia.com

Any help is MAJORLY appreciated. Thanks in advance! Hello

(PS) I don't get into the HELP section here often so please E-MAIL me any help at:

Who ever created the theme moved or deleted the images. We can't do anything really. Please don't post emails on the forum unless you want spam.

Okay, I seen that around here. Isn't there a place INSIDE the theme that I can just edit that image out somehow? Somewhere in the Admin Panel?

(PS) Spam doesn't bother me. ;-) Not bad when fried. :-D

Nope. All the images are hosted by Photobucket and are replaced by that image when someone exceeds their bandwidth. We have no control over this.

]Okay, well I just CHANGED skins & had to edit half the crap ... but ... Lo & behold, it's doing it AGAIN. 2 skins in a row from Hitskin?

There has GOTTA be a way to take the images OUT & just make it a black BG? Can I not EDIT the skin? because I do not see ANY PB links in it that I can find. I tried DL-ing it & again, no PB blinks ...

Hi,

This is a issue with the creator of the skin. I'd assume your using a skin from Jalokim.

Please read this to restore your skin to it's former glory
@Yoshimo wrote:1. Open your CSS Sheet
2. Find all the PhotoBucket links (Make sure they are the direct links, starting with "http://" and ending with ".png or .gif")
3. Create or use a VERY EMPTY/Lightly used PhotoBucket account
4. Upload all the PhotoBucket links in the CSS Sheet to your PB acount
5. Replace all the PhotoBucket links with your own links from your profile
6. Save the CSS sheet.
7. Copy the url image http:// to browser
Save Image As then Upload to photo bucket

The problem with the thing, (I guess) is that once you go over too much space in your PhotoBucket account, all your images are still there, but they get replaced by the bandwidth thing. Because all of Jalokim's images are still there, but PhotoBucket's just changed what they look like because of his bandwidth problem.

Try that and it should work

Thanks for trying it Wink
