Under Construction to LIVE automatically

I have been having the same issue for the past 4 days now. Whenever I set everything to Under Construction so that nothing is viewable until I get done working on things and come back to work on things the next day using my url, I realize that everything is viewable without logging in and that in the Admin Panel, the option for under construction gets changes to viewable to everyone automatically without any actions done by me.

Why is this happening on a daily basis? And, should I expect this to happen every day?

When you put it on construction, after a day it becomes normal.

Put your forum on holiday for a longer period.

Will I be able to work on it in the background while it is on holiday?
