Separate topics

so how do i separate the important topics from the normal topics?
I've seen this done bu how.

Do you mean to make them Stickies or Announcements??

If so, when you wish to make a New Topic a Sticky or an Announcement click on to the appropriate Option button which you will find below the New Topic message body.

In some forum versions the Options may be hidden but you can open this feature by clicking the + button.
