How to transfer my forum to a new host ?

If I want to move my forum to a new host, what are the steps required ? I mean, I no longer want to use the forummotion's free forum. But I want to retain all posts and other data in db.

Is it possible..?

Well keep this forum open with just the information that you have shifted & give them the new url. Whoever moves, will move.
