How to transfer my forum to a new host ?

Hi all...

If I want to move my forum to a new host, what are the steps required ? I mean, I no longer want to use the forummotion's free forum. But I want to retain all posts and other data in db.

Is it possible..?

I think that downloading database is no longer possible.

Ask your members to join your new forum. Keep the forum alive till the transition is complete.

But don't know how many of them are willing to do it.

Well keep this forum open with just the information that you have shifted & give them the new url. Whoever moves, will move.
