Solved Category not showing up

I have created a category and put a category and forums under it so it looks like this in admin panel

New Category
--Category
----Forum 1
----Forum 2

when I go to the forum preview it does not show up at all. how do I get that to show up?

Little new at the admin thing in some areas and can't figure this out.

--> Admin CP --> Display ---> Structure & hierarchy

then:

go to the Split categories on index bit and go Medium
