Font size difference in IE and Firefox

Post by leamarieuk on October 1st 2010, 6:16 pm

I have just altered all my forum, but I have a problem

The font size looks great in IE but is too small when using Firefox

Any idea how to change it so the font size is the same no matter which browser members are using?

edit: It seems that no matter what size I change the font size to it does not alter it in firefox

Hit Ctrl + scroll on the mouse.
See if that increases it in firefox?

I appreciate you editing the post & adding the information than to bump the topic Smile

it does alter the screen resolution but I cant expect majority of members to alter their screen resolutions to use the forum Sad

I know it can be done as it was never like this before I changed the skin Sad

I am sure, its you who changed the settings in your firefox. None of the other members must be having this problem. Smile

I see what you are talking about. There is a little font size change.

Can you disable the widgets once & check?

Okay, it seems some of the widget is causing this problem because of the code it contains.

Lets start with this.
Go on removing each single widget & checking how it displays in firefox then.

Once we find the problematic widget, provide me the code. We will go on from there.

Hello,

I think there is a bug in the widget code. Look at the last widget code...

Code:
<div style="text-align: center;"><font size="2"><font size="1"><font size="3">

The font tags are not closed after they are opened. Try closing them or remove them if they are not necessary.

You will have to delete them one by one & hit Save to see the results.

To get them back you can again drag & drop it through your personal widgets.

No need to change the default widgets provided by forumotion, its the widget which you have created which might have a problem.
