email problem

Post by jdev97 on October 2nd 2010, 9:34 am

so about a year ago, a friend created the forum and he recently quit playing games, and gave the forum to me, now he says his email is tied up, when I have the founders email as mine, and I want to know how to get his email unassocitated with my forum with out him having to delete it? His email is MarkHouseMD@yahoo.com.

this dude is restricting access from me to my website... I'm demanding immediately that he release information to me so that I may obtain my websites domain

I'm restricting access to him because it's not his site anymore.. He passed on the torch. And I just wanna get this taken care of without my forum getiing jacked up. And he wants to wreck the whole forum over a stupid email.

Excuse me, I do not believe that is the case. I'm not trying to wreck anything. If want to obtain something that belongs to me, because it was of my creation and is registered under my name, I have the right to obtain that without being restricted to do so.

i wiped becasue I went to a different domain service for the time being but that place was not as well managed, that and it was expensive. I came back to the original sat there for a few, then went on hiatus and at anytime could return becasue it was still mine, and I may have wanted it for something in the future in which i currently do. Think of it like babysitting, but a baby sitter doesn't just barge in and take over someone's house, they're just there until their service is no longer needed.. That's pretty much what you did sir, and your services are no longer needed. I'm not fighting with you about this, the site belongs to me, my email address is under it, I know it inside and out, I trusted you with it while i've been gone and you broke that trust

there was no babysitting.. You just said you quit yugioh and you didn't want the forum anymore. So you deleted the other godaddy.com one. And gave me this one after I asked you to let me continue running the forum. Shoot. I even have a tipic on the forum called "dear jourdan" which pretty much states your orignal intentions when you gave me the website.

yeah but that still doesn't make it your website. If my information is on there, it my website, my domain, mine, period. You can't claim it to be yours you are falsifying your information, because you are not me, and that's who you are saying you are by doing this.

noted... but I'm registered owner of the website through forumotion you're holding my email hostage more or less, and you need to quit the whole show and give me back my stuff before we have bigger problems that email address you're using to keep the website registered as is not yours it is my jourdan, you need to knock this crap off and give it up, stop barring me from that site, and letting me obtain my email address for this site back. Unlock my information, give me access to the site, and we'll be done with this whole thing

Why did you both come here and to make a big deal out of this? This isn't the place for it and I don't want sit here at my computer to baby sit you both.

Just look in the founder utilities and account to see if his email is there is so change it and move on.

There is nothing about hacking, if he knew doing it he would have long done that & not made a issue on the support forum.

Since, he was able to login into the utilities, he is the founder of the forum. So he was able to delete the forum.

There is nothing that can be done now without you two cooperating. Maybe even nothing done at all.

he wants his email unnasociated with the forum
he wants to delete the forum to do so
he gave me the forum, including the founder sccount
he hacked the founder account password to get in and delete the forum
then hhe hacked my email to delete the forum

Actually he gave you the details for the admin account, however not once did he hand over the utilities password (On the actual FM site) he was able to delete the forum via this feature. I wish you just had of attempted to transfer the forum over to your own email.
