How do i change the background color of Login Popup ?

Hello,

I have theme in black color & the popup is also in black which does not prominent as i want , So how i can change the background color of Login Popup ( from Black to any other color ) .......

I did copy & paste the code by changing Color Code of my choice but change doesn,t occurd

I just paste the code shows in Red rectangle ....

& after saving , Popup seems as it was ...

This is the view after pasting the code & it was same before .




I do not know what mistake i m doing , so plz lemme know
