Signature at forumotion does not work!

I added a signature via my Profile, but its not visable. I chenged the HTML option at Preferences to HTML ON, but the information beneath the emoticons still says HTML OFF.

Profile - Preferences - Always attack my signature: Yes
While you are posting a message you will see a check box that says:
Attach my signature: Yes (:

If you are talking about this forum, members are not allowed to have signatures.

Then why give us the option to add a signature!!!!!

Its a general field.
