Solved Favicon won't show up in IE

Hello,

The favicon I use for my HTML pages and my forum will show up in all DECENT browsers, but of course, the one browser that gives everyone a hassle, *amazingly* doesn't comply with it.(I am angry with IE as every time I install an update, IE has a problem with it). I am sure we cannot update it to the root of our site, and I tried adding <link> tags, but it still won't work. Here is the code I used:

Hi,

IE7 has a low chance of actually loading the favicon, it knows it's there, just doesn't load it, just he same as IE8 (In NON compatibility mode), where as if you were to sue the comparability mode, it has a much greater chance of loading it. Wink
