External widget codes don't work!
I'm trying to add some game widgets to my forum to entertain my members, but non of the game widgets work. Its just an empty block. Here's an example of a game widget code, maybe there's something wrong with the code.
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,0,0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400px" height="323px" id="InsertWidget_048639e2-b838-47dc-b9ef-e6d97a3e63a6" align="middle"><param name="movie" value="http://widgetserver.com/syndication/flash/wrapper/InsertWidget.swf"/><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><param name="menu" value="false" /><param name="flashvars" value="r=1&appId=048639e2-b838-47dc-b9ef-e6d97a3e63a6" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /> <embed src="http://widgetserver.com/syndication/flash/wrapper/InsertWidget.swf" name="InsertWidget_048639e2-b838-47dc-b9ef-e6d97a3e63a6" width="400px" height="323px" quality="high" menu="false" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" flashvars="r=1&appId=048639e2-b838-47dc-b9ef-e6d97a3e63a6" /></object>

Re: External widget codes don't work!
The code is working fine.
You have to enable your html ,
Admin panel>general>messages & emails>configuration
scroll down to (allow htrml) and click save
then go back to your forum index>profile>profile preferences.
scroll to (to always allow html) and click save.. so now you will have the html enabled.
Actually your forum widget is already set up for html?
be sure that everthing is set like i said above as well.
And i think you would be better of off getting the games from somewhere else.. because the game you have game you have has the thing to add this widget and Ad's.. so it's up to you.
i tried to take them out but it wont work if you remove them from the code.
Here is one place you can find games like this.
just select a game then sro;; down to the bottom of the page and click on where it says embed. and the codes from here can also be adjusted along with removing the Owens world links if you wanted to. but this is just one site, if you google it you can find many sites that will have free games with embed codes
http://owensworld.com/flashgames/
You can also use flash tags for post if you wanted to.
But keep in mind if you adding games to widgets on your forum your probably going to want to adjust them to fut in the widget
