Groups with Admin Access
I have created 5 groups in my forum. It goes like this:
Admin
Head GameMaster
GameMaster
Forum Admin
Forum Mod
Now my question is how can I allow these groups to have access in the ACP? Is it possible?

Re: Groups with Admin Access
Hi, your title not being specific and therefore not facilitating research via the search option, I'm not answering (nor is any other member ) until you change your title to a more specific one, related to your problem
Why do we ask you to use explicit titles
Why do we ask you to use explicit titles
- Code:
The forum's search engine bases its research on keywords found in [b]topic titles[/b].
When you do a research, do you use "help", "urgent", "problem", "SOS" or "question" as keywords to look for topics about your problem/question?
Certainly not! So this is why it is important to use titles [b]related to your problem/question[/b]. Doing this makes the researches much easier for visitors who use the search engine to get an answer to their question.
Thanks for your understanding.
Cordially

Re: Groups with Admin Access
Only if you add a user to the admin group, only then will they have admin access. Other groups, cannot have admin access under any circumstances.

Re: Groups with Admin Access
I see. The only solution is to add them in the admin group.
What if for example I added username: Jeff in the admin group but I don't want his title to be admin. I want his title to be "Forum Admin", is that possible?

Yes, rank administration is totally different than the groups.

Re: Groups with Admin Access
Ok. Good thing it's possible and I've done it. Thanks for the help.
Another question. I've set the Admin users' color to red then Violet for the Forum Admins. As I stated in my previous post, I add Jeff in the admin users so basically he'll get the red color and admin access. Now, how can I make Jeff's name turns to color violet as Forum Admin w/o losing the admin access?

Re: Groups with Admin Access
Damn! I thought so.
Giving infractions/warnings should have access to the ACP right? Is there a way that the other groups can give infractions w/o the access to the ACP? For the ban thing, I manage to work it out, but for giving infractions, I don't know how to do it.

Re: Groups with Admin Access
You can change it via the normal profile. No need for admin access.

Re: Groups with Admin Access
Thank for everything buddy. Please keep this open for my future questions. Or I just need to make new threads? If that's so, close this.
