Question about forums and hosts. Empty Question about forums and hosts.

Post by Tsukikun October 26th 2010, 9:06 pm

I've read a few older topics about moving "my forum to a different host" and similar.
I'm thinking about signing up with a web host and have a few questions.

Will I be able(or head admin) to transfer my forum to another host?
If not, then why?

I made my forum about a month ago and is getting a good start on it. I'd like to know
now so I would be able to solve other things I will do.

Its not possible, because we don't have access to our databases (:

lol I read that same statement many times in older posts,
so if that's true, I could'nt get a back-up file or anything?

and is there a reason why forumotion can't access their database?

Big vocabs, kinda harsh too...

So meaning forumotion has the right of what happens to my forum,
and will decide if I can have a back-up of my forum I made with them?
