Solved Composing Text/font Color

Post by zfreh on October 25th 2010, 3:28 am

Composing Text/font color is black, same as background.. I want to keep the background black though.

I didn't get this problem before I reset the Theme of the forum. Same Theme as the previous one, I only changed to Version phpBB3.

I just noticed, it went back to Invision. I guess It's because of the theme. But still can't figure out.

So what do you want to change the text in where you type? What forum version are you using?

Code:
#textarea_content iframe#text_editor_iframe,#text_editor_textarea {
   color: #FF0000;
   }

Add this to your css, change the color code as you want.

Sorry but that only changed the "frame"'s color. I need to change the text's font color.

well if you change to phpbb3 you can use this code, I just used it to fix my problem of the message box where the text color was same as the background also

Code:
#message-box textarea {
   color: #ffffff;
   font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
   width: 80%;
   font-size: 1.2em;
   }
#textarea_content {
   margin-top: 2px;
   }
#textarea_content textarea#text_editor_textarea {
   width: 100% !important;
   height: 250px;
   }
#textarea_content iframe#text_editor_iframe {
   width: 100%;
   height: 100%;
   }
form#quick_reply #textarea_content textarea#text_editor_textarea {
   width: 100% !important;
   height: 150px;
   }
form#quick_reply #textarea_content iframe#text_editor_iframe {
   width: 100%;
   height: 100%;
   }

My version is currently invision (seems that my theme forces to change the version)

Nope, sorry nothing changed Sad Still black.. I even tried editing the color of the code you gave me but nothing changed

try going to your admin panel>colors>css script and click on see your basic css script, and maybe search for message box ;s, that's what i did, and it should show you the basic code for the message box for your version i believe, and make sure a code similar to it is not already in there, ;s

Solved Re: Composing Text/font Color

I registered on your forum to use Dragonfly on your posts' text fields. This is what I came up with:

Code:
#textarea_content {
color: (insert your color hash here);
margin-top: 2px;
}

Hope that helps.

I treated this problem by using a different Theme. You may now lock this forum if you wish. Thanks for the help attempts.
