How do I make these? [HELP ASAP]

I need to learn to make user pips/rank images/icons or whatever you like to call them.
But I don't need the "average" rank image I want something a little different.






Those are the kind I would like to make and I just don't know how, I've searched Google multiple times with multiple types of searches.

Any tutorials or videos or anything will help!
P.S. - Notice how the guy's images are like picture perfect crisp, and random at the same time? Reccomend any sites to find images like those?
