Adding Chat Bar?

How do I add Chat bar? I went to the widget and added chat but it doesn't appear. Could you tell me how to add the meebo chat bar? Please note that I don't know much. Am trying to learn.

HOMEPAGE CHATBOX:

Modules -> Chatbox -> Active the Chatbox -> change show display to top homepage or bottom homepage.

PORTAL CHATBOX:

Modules -> Chatbox -> Activate the Chatbox -> Do Not Display.
Modules -> Portal and Widgets -> Portal Management -> Show the Portal = Yes -> Portal's Page List -> (1) Portal = Structure -> Drag in Chatbox where you want it.

DONE!
