Embed IRC Client

I was wondering if it would be possible to embed an IRC client in a custom HTML page. Any ideas? (IRC+Internet Relay Chat).

It might be possible if the embed code is pure HTML (no javascript etc put straight onto a page, it doesn't work the majority of the time)

It's worth trying but I don't know of anyone who has done it before :S

Alright. I'll try it out, and come back if it works or doesn't. If not, any other methods of chatting that might work? EG, something better then the ShoutBox.

Every forum has a built in chatbox that can be installed with ease (Admin Panel > General > Chatbox > Configuration)

And there are quite a few free chatboxs, chatrooms, shoutboxes etc. that can easily be put on your forum (with the right code)

Those are all the methods of chatting (apart from the actual forum ) that I can think of.

Are any of them more instant then the ShoutBox that is built in? It has a nasty delay...
