Registered user

Ive noticed that whenever some one registers this person can automatically view every part of the forums, i want to make it so only the people frmo the groups i create; moderators,admins,friends, be able to see the forums. can you please explain how to do this?

Registered members of forums usually have permission to view & participate in the forum they have joined, unless you change permissions so they cannot.

To do this go to your Admin Panel>Advanced>General>Forums>Categories & Forums>Click on the x/tick icon>uncheck Guests & members permissions & check permissions for those groups you wish to have allow to view your forums. Click Save. Repeat for each of your forums.

Might be easier to disallow new members. To do this go to Users & Groups>Users>Users' Options>Allow New Members>No>Save
