New User Registration..Admin not getting email to approve Empty New User Registration..Admin not getting email to approve

Post by queenrabe November 16th 2010, 2:24 pm

I have my forum set up so when new users register Admin receives an email telling me I have a new registration to approve. Until recently this has been working. The last 3 registrations, all within the last month, I have not received an email.
Under Users & Groups---Users Options--Send notify email on new user registrations set to Admin. Also under Users & Groups---Users Options--New accounts activation is set to Admin. The new users show up to be activated under Users & Groups---Inactive Users. I can activate their accounts from there.

I was going to check to see what email address is set for Admin but can't find that option anyplace. Can you help me get this back to receiving emails when new users register and need to have their accounts activated?

Maybe your spam system in your email put it in the spam folder?

I receive emails from topics I am following. Those do not go into my spam folder. I checked the spam folder and nothing has been going to spam folder. I was getting the emails to approve my users until recently. Perhaps within the last month this problem has started.

I am able to activate new users. I do not get an email telling me I have users waiting to be activated. I would prefer to receive the email again. Right now I have to go into Admin Panel daily and see if any new registrations are pending for me.

**I dont know what acp means**

acp means (Administration Panel.) Smile

Ok double check all your setting once again and be sure to look in your spam foler again as well.

it may be something with just the few email address? i am not sure.
but if the problem persist and all the setting are set correctly we may have to request a tech.

OK, checked all the settings. Now I will just wait to see what happens with the next registrations.
