Warning option for mods- pillory Empty Warning option for mods- pillory

It happens to be moderator in a forum (greek forum of a german game). This forum is running another type of board but it doesnt matter...

In this forum there is the option for mods to give warnings to users that break rules. There is also a pillory file in which the warnings are shown. In our forum we have this rule. Whoever takes 3 warnings is banned for 2-3 days. if he takes 3 more he is banned for 1 week. Whoever takes a warning will be informed with an automatic pm...

Of course we could do this with a closed topic and just say that somebody is warned but it would not be convenient...

The staff of forums can warn members. You can also ban members for days or permanently.

I vote no.

yes i know that you can make an informal warn but if you have many member you cant remember who's done something wrong and who's not.. so its a good way to keep a record...

An automatic, simple "Warn" button would be great, (Just like all other forums have) rather than in informal, unorganized warn

I vote yes, all the way.

that's what i'm talking about nar112293... every modarator will have next to each post a warn button (just like we have quote and report) If he sees something that is off the limits he casts a warning...

Jotting down warnings for members in a topic and putting them in the comment boxes where they can so easily be edited by someone with even the slightest bit of moderator power is absolutely pointless. To have a field where warnings can be easily given and shown would be wonderful.

I vote yes.

It's more of an explanation of a situation rather than a suggestion.
