Is there an automatic lock on threads?
Hello,
Today noticed that on our forum chat threads a thread was closed
Seeing that neither the poster or Admin closed the thread. Is there an automatic close on threads when they reach a certain number of posts.
Regards
cassini

Re: Is there an automatic lock on threads?
Hi,
Yes there is; to be exact, it's a lock & split.
Once a thread reaches 999 posts, it splits some posts & creates a new thread.
The previous one is left to rot (iif unattended) and is locked.
You cannot unlock it, nor can you merge to or from it.
It's just apart of forumotion's limitations.
