Removing points and post delays

Does anyone know how to remove points from a profile since I'm setting up a game shop? I used to think the points were for nothing but I know that they must be there for a reason.

To prevent possible future post spam, is it possible to have a delay before you can past again, and if so how to add the delay.

In answer to your second query re post delay. Go to your Admin Panel>Advanced>General>Forums>Security>Security Administration>Flood Control (delay between 2 messages, topics or PMs by user)>Set to the time gap you want>Click Save.


As I don't use Points & Reputation I had to do a bit of searching to get some sort of an answer to your first query. If you go to Modules in your AP>Points & Reputation>Points System - as well as General Options - you may find how to do what you wish to do with the points.
