How can i make the USRNAME_AVATAR variabile work in overall_header template [PhpBB2]
Well, i wanna put that variable to work in a template, i just want to put the useravatar on the header, in a menu that i'm gone make.
I know this seems to be impossible, but i think it well word somehow.
Like you just did with that variables to work in a htm page, when users crated from administration panel, they put in that page a script, so the variables cand work.
Well i want to make this in a forum template, in the overall_header with the USERNAME_AVATAR?
Does anyone know how can I do'it?
sorry, for my bad english

Hi,
Sorry about the delay, Ive been in and out of the forum lately - Though I thought someone would have been able to help by now ....
Now I do just want to ask 1 quick question, it is to be on every page, correct?
(Just according to your 1st post, you noteded to edit the over_header which means it'll show on every page)
Example no table:
username
avatar
Example table: username avatar
P.S. Nice irony as your avie

Re: How can i make the USRNAME_AVATAR variabile work in overall_header template [PhpBB2]
Yes, I want to be on all pages.
I want to do a phpBB2 theme, and some ideas I want to put them into practice. I can not start something if you do not find a solution to what I wanted to do.
The first theme was that I made http://alexm.wikiforum.ro but I left it unfinished. But now I want to do something even more beautiful. So, I want to know how to make it appear in the header, the avatar of a user, using variables

i just want the {USERNAME_AVATAR} to work in overall_header.
no matter which party is it, know how to code, and change it the way i want, but I want to make it functional.

Well, the {USERNAME_AVATAR} code isn't one FM recognizes, instead it's 2 silly codes.
Avie: {postrow.displayed.POSTER_AVATAR}
Name: {postrow.displayed.POSTER_NAME}
Logged in variable: <!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
<!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
Please don't ask me why there such silly codes - could be simplified soooo much if you asked me
