Purchasing a custom domain for your site.

I been scrolling through different forum sites, and I just need some information before I make a purchase.

1) If I purchase a domain on forumotion, do I own that domain? Will forumotion ads disappear or would I need to also by the ad stop so I can put in my own ads to generate rev for my site.

2) How long does this domain last? I am guessing a year subscription?

3) Will the hosting improve, as in my past forum, many members complained about the latency of the chatbox that this site provides.

1. No you would need to pay to remove them.
2. All domains are a year but you get a message 60 days before it expires so you can get credits and renew it.
3. Nothing changes if you buy a domain name. We don't have any upgrade plans that move forums to another server that provide better features etc... All Forumotion forums are the same.

1. 20 MB is the standard for all forums: You will need to buy more if you want attachments and gallery space.
2. Once you remove the ad's that Forumotion puts on you can install your own.
